The Starving Artist Behind The Tour Guide
Supporting the creator who brings V3's mission to life through art and innovation
Chevy Dean is an artist built from grit, reinvention, and raw experience.
The real beginning of it all came in 2023, when he started drawing while FaceTiming with his daughter. It was the only way to stay connected through distance, and those simple sketches turned into a lifeline — a way to keep hope alive, keep his mind steady, and keep showing up as a father even when life was at its hardest.
His work didn't come from art school or fancy studios. It came from survival. From being homeless, from rebuilding his life after incarceration, from sitting at kitchen tables and borrowed desks, trying to turn pain into something worth sharing.
The drawings, characters, symbols, and worlds he creates now are more than art. They're pieces of a life rebuilt from scratch — reminders that creativity can survive anything and still come out swinging.
Create, evolve, and give the world something real at a time when most people are faking it.
Every sketch is born on scrap paper, notebooks, and whatever blank space he can get his hands on.
If you support this work — whether by donating supplies or sharing the page — you're helping an artist keep building a future for himself, his daughter, and everyone who sees themselves in the struggle.
